Lea Lubrano
I was born in Brooklyn,
New York
in 1961.
When I was 4, my family moved to
Staten Island,
where I grew up. After High school I decided to become a hairdresser
and at the ripe old age of 24. I opened my own hair salon. I was successful, and managed to
keep it that way for 12 years . Then my husband and 2 sons decided it was time for a
change.
We made the major move to Florida in 1997.
I had always wanted to live here. Now, I still do hair but, I do it in 4 different
nursing homes -and love it.
I have had many hobbies and tried many
different crafts. But when I found myself in a class making glass , it was
love at first try.
Now my art is glasswork !
I really enjoy making one-of-a-kind items,
and love the creative input from others.
Eventually I will enjoy having a studio. To show my
work, and maybe have a class or two.
